Derwent London and Lazari Investments have a strong track record of delivering highly sustainable, low-carbon buildings that respond to the need for sustainable development.

The project team have been tasked with carefully assessing each building on-site on their merits to deliver the most sustainable future, whether this involves refurbishing, repositioning, or redevelopment.

In this case, our carbon assessment has determined that the most sustainable approach would be to replace the existing buildings on the site in order to introduce a new, modern and energy efficient building which is significantly better than the GLA’s adopted targets for embodied carbon.

Our video below explains more about our approach to sustainability:

Since the submission of our planning application, we have reviewed our carbon assessment, including the circular economy. As a result, we are now seeking to reuse and repurpose circa 59% of the Accurist House Superstructure Slabs.
